Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire or stop working?
No — the QR code encodes your URL or text directly, so it works for as long as that link or text stays valid. There’s no third-party redirect service involved that could expire or go down.
What’s the difference between PNG and SVG export?
PNG is a fixed-resolution image, fine for screens and most printing. SVG is vector — it scales to any size (a billboard or a business card) with no loss of sharpness, which matters if you’ll print it large.
What is error correction, and which level should I use?
Error correction lets a QR code still scan correctly even if part of it is damaged, dirty, or covered by a logo. Higher levels tolerate more damage but make the code denser (harder to scan from far away) — the default level suits most uses; go higher only if you plan to overlay a logo or print it somewhere it might get scuffed.
Can I put a logo in the middle of my QR code?
This tool focuses on clean, reliable codes with customizable colors and size rather than logo overlays. If you need a logo embedded, increase the error correction level first so the code stays scannable once you add one in an image editor.
Is anything I enter stored or tracked?
No — the text or URL you enter is used only to render the image and isn’t logged or stored. There’s no scan tracking or analytics on the codes this tool generates.
