Frequently asked questions

How is the GPA calculated?
Each letter grade is converted to its standard 4.0-scale grade point (A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, and so on), multiplied by that course's credits, then the totals are divided by the sum of all credits to get your weighted GPA.
Does this match my school's official GPA scale?
It uses the common unweighted 4.0 scale. Some schools use a weighted scale for honors/AP courses or a different grading table entirely — check your registrar's scale if you need an exact official match.
Can I add or remove courses as I go?
Yes — add a row per course and delete any you don't need. The GPA recalculates instantly as you edit credits or grades.
Is my grade data uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you type is sent to a server, stored, or tied to an account.
Do I need to install anything or sign up?
No. It runs entirely in your browser — no software install, no account, no email required.
